So I will put Mr. Magic and The Best Is Yet To Come on the same CD. Wish there was away I could tell Motown about their goof. I wonder how many other albums of Skylarkin they produced and sold that were screwed up? From the tracks I heard, it is a piece of work by Grover Washington, Jr., even though I heard the same tracks twice/5(18).

Grover Washington Jr. (December 12, – December 17, ) was an American jazz-funk / soul-jazz saxophonist. Along with George Benson, John Klemmer, David Sanborn, Bob James, Chuck Mangione, Dave Grusin, Herb Alpert, and Spyro Gyra, he is considered by many to be one of the founders of the smooth jazz genre.

Aug 31,  · The only Grover album that I know and own is “Live at the Bijou” so this was a most welcome post. As soon as I heard the opening track I thought “Shit, that percussion sounds typical of Ralph McDonald”, then I looked at your Player list and wasn’t at all surprised to see his name.
